Our Health Retreat is not a weight loss camp — it’s a wellness vacation designed to help you reconnect and reinvigorate.

Each day offers a carefully curated mix of adventure, exercise, healthy eating, and relaxation — while our small class sizes provide individualized attention and the opportunity to ask questions.

The retreat is designed to help you build a network of similar people that are trying to find their own balanced lifestyle. You will leave feeling relaxed and empowered.

We are sensitive to the fact that sometimes, “life” gets in the way of your best laid out plans, whether it be financial, an unexpected illness or death in the family, or work. A Health Retreat is about putting yourself and your health first, and I would ask that you make every attempt to follow through on your commitment, not just to Hit the Floor, but to yourself as well. Canceling a trip because you didn’t make the time to train or prepare, is not a valid reason to cancel.

In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, please understand the following: Make your refund request via email to info@hitthefloorfitness.com, with the reason for your inability to attend the trip. Please do so as soon as possible. Hit the Floor will make every attempt to fill your spot. If you request a refund prior to 60 days, you will be issued a full refund, less a $500 processing fee. That fee may be applied to any future Hit the Floor Health Retreat.

If you request a refund within 60 days of your trip, Hit the Floor will make every attempt to fill your spot. In the event that Hit the Floor cannot fill your spot, you will forfeit the entire amount of the trip. If we are able to fill your spot, you will receive a refund for the entire amount paid, less a $500 processing fee.

All refunds are processed after the trip is completed unless a spot is filled immediately. Your assistance in filling your spot is gladly accepted. If you do cancel your reservation and forfeit any amounts paid, Hit the Floor would like to invite you to attend a trip in the future, if space is available, at no additional fee, or prorated fee (based on the price of the trip), except for your airfare to/from the destination. These are usually last minute (within 30 days) trips. If this is something you’re interested in, please contact info@hitthefloorfitness.com and place your request to be put on a “space available” list for a specific trip.

Our Health Retreat will be filled with classes, workshops, and seminars; a perfect balance of moving, learning and doing. We customize our schedule based on our participants’ abilities, interests, and goals.

CLASSES

Our classes are designed to get you moving! If it is something new to something familiar, our beginner to intermediate/advanced classes offer everything from HTF Park Fit, Bootcamp, Yoga, and Zumba to R.I.P.P.E.D.

WORKSHOPS

Foster your passion for learning! Our workshops will have you up and utilizing the topics being discussed from Myofascial Release to a Postural Assessment.

SEMINARS

Our seminars have a variety of topics ranging from nutrition, exercise, to behavior change.

EXCURSIONS

A Health Retreat is not complete without an adventure.  Enjoy a half day off-site excursion where you will dine, and explore beautiful Door County.

A complete and accurate schedule will be sent to registered participants on July 1, 2020. We custom design our schedule based on the feedback we receive in our registration form.  Based on registration numbers, we may offer multiple session options at the same time.

We have everyone from business professionals to teachers and busy parents, grandparents and grandkids, all looking to regain some of themselves back again. The average age of our participants is 30-65 years, but we welcome both those in their twenties and those in their 80’s!

Door County is considered the Cape Cod of the Midwest.  A short drive from Chicago, this Wisconsin peninsula separates the waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan.  Known for its picturesque shoreline, Egg Harbor provides the perfect backdrop for a Health Retreat escape.

Fine Dining

Your private chef will prepare your meals consisting of exceptional flavor and high nutritional value. You’ll savor a healthy balance of vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, lean proteins, nuts, and healthy fats.

Our chef will offer you the choice of two options of entrees for your four-course dinner provided each night.  Dinner will be plated based on proper portion sizes.

Your stay begins in one of two 7000 square foot estates nestled in a private wooded setting with breathtaking water views of the bay.  These exceptional residences offer seclusion while allowing full access to all Hit the Floor’s events, just a few steps away.

Enjoy a customized massage or recovery session in the comforts of the luxury estate.  There is no need to rush to leave after your appointment.  Whether you are looking to improve mobility, reduce pain, or just relax; each session is customized to your needs

Massage: We will use a variety of massage methods and stretching techniques to get the results you are looking for.

Recovery:  These sessions are fully clothed.  We will use a variety of recovery techniques such as foam rolling, massage, assisted stretching, to get the results you are looking for.

Kayaking & Pier Fishing

Bring your kayak or paddle board to enjoy picturesque Green Bay. Bring a fishing pole and try to catch some of the lake’s teeming small mouth bass or walleye.

Swimming

Swim laps in the warm waters of Green Bay.

Drive just 2 short miles to downtown Egg Harbor.  Egg Harbor was voted the “Best Shopping Experience” by Door County Magazine.  Enjoy looking for treasures in the specialty boutique shops, or browse the art galleries.

Door County offers 10 golf courses all within a short driving distance from each other offering something for all abilities.  Enjoy views of the towering bluffs, rolling hills, and Green Bay water views.

Hiking & Biking

Explore miles of free nature preserves and enjoy some of the most beautiful views of Door County, just a short drive away.  Bird watch and see many rare birds that are protected in perpetuity.  Bikers are welcome to bring their own wheels.

Wellness Coaching

Work with one of our coaches to help remove road blocks, facilitate mindset and behavior change strategies to give you a plan of action to start with when you leave the Health retreat.

Private Cooking Lessons

Get hands on experience with our chef in order to make a healthy recipe to use at home. Learn cooking tips along the way. You will be given a printed copy of the recipe to take home.

Fitness

Train with a Hit the Floor professional and learn from the best. Maximize your time, and safety.

Fitness After 50

Focus on areas that may include muscle mass and strength, core stability, balance, bone density, and flexibility.

Weight Loss & Metabolic Training

Focus on maximizing your metabolism, enhancing muscle and promoting weight loss.

Strength Training

Focus on building strength using your bodyweight and other equipment.

Yoga

Focus on correcting and enhancing your postures while providing tips on alignment and breath.

Injury Training

Focus on getting an exercise routine customized if you have a condition or injury that limited you, this session can help you safely become more active in hopes of reducing discomfort.

“I went into the health retreat thinking I was going to spend some time with my friend and get my butt kicked in workouts. But the weekend turned out to be so much more. The workouts were a great introduction to many activities, some I was familiar with and some I have never tried (like aqua aerobics – I didn’t realize how hard it was to move in a pool!).

It was really great to get an opportunity to try so many different activities, in a relaxed atmosphere, that I normally wouldn’t have. We had amazing food prepared for us and again I was able to try some new things. We were able to see how good eating healthy could be! I felt so pampered by the quality of the food – and no clean up! The chef even had demos to help us create some of his great recipes at home. To top things off, the place we stayed was amazing – being able to sit on that beautiful deck and watch the sunrise over the mountains each morning was breath taking.
