The theory behind a Sports Massage is to focus on specific muscle groups to promote blood flow, increase range of motion and increase flexibility. Even if you are not an athlete, this massage can help muscle pain and regain range of motion.
Additional pressure targets muscle adhesions, also known as knots. A Deep Tissue Massage uses deliberate, methodical strokes across the grain of the muscle to address chronic tight or painful areas, repetitive strain, postural issues, or injuries. It has been shown to effectively treat symptoms of respective stresses like tennis elbow and carpal tunnel as well as reduce symptoms of osteoarthritis.
Using the techniques of a Swedish Massage, the Chair Massage focuses on the upper body, head, neck, shoulders, and arms. It is done over clothes in a special chair and doesn’t require any massage oil. It is designed specifically to relax muscles while improving circulation and movement.
