This one day course dives into the wellness continuum featuring exercise, nutrition, and life balance. Reset: Learn some of the physiology behind our exercise and nutrition choices. Recharge: The holidays are right around the corner. Let us gain some motivation for maintaining a healthy lifestyle through the winter months.

Start your day with a fabulous exercise class taught by Emily.
9:30-10:00am: Break (To freshen up)
10:00-11:30am: How is stress ruining your weight loss program
-How is stress effecting our hormones?
-What can we do to reduce stress to bring balance back to our bodies?
11:30-12:30pm: Lunch Break
12:30-2:00pm: Core 101
-I am sure we have all heard how important the core truly is to all exercise forms, posture, and injury reduction but what muscles make up the core?
-How do we train the core properly to get the most out of our workouts?
2:15-2:45pm: The 80/20 Rule
-How do we eat on a sustained healthy diet?
2:45-3:30: Cooking with Justin
-Enjoy a food demonstration
3:45-4:15pm: Now What?
-Considering all the new information we have received today, how do we put this new information into practice?
4:15-5:00pm: Questions, ect.
We will stay to answer any questions you may. You will have the opportunity to register for Hit the Floor services at a discount as well as make Advocare product purchases at a discount.
We are providing a break for lunch. There are many food options close to the hotel or you may choose to bring your own lunch. Downtown Libertyville is 3.4 miles away and provides multiple restaurant options.

Emily graduated in Health and Human Physiology as well as Dance from the University of Iowa. She has held multiple roles but has spent most of her time in corporate fitness. She is currently the proud owner of Hit the Floor where she is able to blend her love for exercise, dance, and wellness.
She is passionate about sharing her love for movement. She encourages her clients to enjoy the benefits of healthy changes such as an increased mood, increased energy, and improved positivity over results seen on the scale.
As a degreed and certified exercise physiologist, she is qualified to prescribe and support exercise programming including those in special populations based on anatomy, physiology, motor control, psychology, and biomechanics.

Saturday, November 12th
8:30am - 5:00pm
-Wear fitness clothing and proper shoes to our event. A fitness class will be offered from 8:30-9:30am.
-Needed toiletries to freshen up after our exercise class.
-An extra pair of exercise clothing. You will want to be comfortable throughout the day. Bring layers in case the room is cold during our seminar sessions.
-Notebook and writing utensil(s). You may wish to take notes throughout the day.
-Water bottle so you are able to stay hydrated.
-(Optional) Snacks to consume during our 15 minute breaks.
-(Optional) Lunch to eat in the lobby during our lunch break.
