Natalie Nease is a fully certified level 2 STOTT Pilates Instructor and Certified Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist. Natalie has been teaching in Des Moines for the last two and a half years and enjoys working with a wide variety of clients both on the equipment and the mat.

Weather

The average temperatures in Phoenix in April are upper 70's to mid 80's, with nighttime lows in the upper 50's and lower 60's.  You will receive a packing list for your trip with your final payment in March.

Will you fit in?

Of course!  We have those who travel solo and at the end of the week, have made new friends and relationships that continue even once they get home.  We have everyone from business professionals to teachers and busy parents, grandparents and grandkids, all looking to regain some of themselves back again.  The average age of our participants is 30-65 years, but we welcome both those in their twenties and those in their 80's!  We have those who have maintained their fitness as well as those looking for a jump-start, or a lifestyle solution to better health.  If you have questions about your fitness level, or traveling by yourself, please do not hestitate to contact Emily at info@hitthefloorfitness.com.

Arrival and Departure

Please plan on arriving in Phoenix on Thursday, April 20th between 2-4pm.  Check-in begins at 4pm.  Ground transportation will be arranged in rental vans based on arrivals.   Please plan your departure for Sunday, April 23rd.  Check-out is 10am.  We will plan our shuttles based on your departures.  You may schedule a later flight, and spend some additional time in Phoenix before you go.  


Please note:  We will do our best to accommodate your air travel times.  If you prefer a private shuttle to/from the airport, you may make your own arrangements.

Your Investment

The cost of the trip is all inclusive, except for your airfare into Phoenix, additional services (massage, private sessions), and optional spending money.  A deposit of $250 is required to hold your spot.  You will receive an invoice for the balance on March 1st and the invoice must be paid in full by March 12th or you will receive a late penalty of $50.  Please read the refund policy.

Regular Rate (1/1/17 - 2/28/17): $980/person

Rush Rate (3/1/17 - 4/1/17): $1025/person


How much spending money you bring is entirely up to you.  You may wish to bring extra money for shopping in town, or other optional activities.  All massages and private individual sessions must be scheduled and paid for upon arrival.  You will receive details regarding booking and paying for these services through email before the event.

Natalie Nease, experienced fitness specialist in Des Moines, IA, joins Emily Emanuel, owner of Hit the Floor, on this Health Retreat to Arizona.  They are busy planning your peaks, playtime, and pampering.  Expect to be challenged with a well balance of FUN. 


Delicious Gourmet

Your private Personal Fitness Chef, will prepare your meals for the weekend consisting of exceptional flavor and high nutritional value.  You'll savor a healthy balance of vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, lean proteins, nuts, and healthy fats.  Our philosophy is moderation not deprivation.  


You will also be exposed to the fantastic products of Advocare learning to fill the gaps in your diet with added nutrients.

We have a wide array of activities planned such as various fitness classes throughout the day, hiking the peaks, enjoying the pool, educational workshops and nutritional seminars.

Vivid desert colors, breathtaking mountain views, sweeping natural beauty and abundant wildlife surround this elegant home. The property sits across from a Phoenix Nature Preserve allowing you access to miles of hiking trails.  


We know you will enjoy everything this estate has to offer!  From its gorgeous views, custom pool, hot tub, home gym, infrared sauna, lighted sports court, game room, and home theater.

Please note that these are shared accommodations.  Everyone will have their own bed, with only 2 beds per room. Bring a friend, parent, sibling, or daughter and secure your roommate now!

Chef Justin holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.  His food journey began when he started traveling extensively for work.  Experiencing regional cuisine within the United States and international fare fueled his desire to become a chef.  He enjoys cooking classic French, Southwest and Mexican dishes.  His care and attention to detail yields delicious and picture worthy results.  He is certified through NESTA as a Personal Fitness Chef.  Diet is such an important part of overall wellness.  He loves helping clients reach their goals and have delicious time doing it.  Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring and Chef Justin brings the flavor.

Your Vacation Package will Include...

Emily Emanuel is a degreed Exercise Physiologist and professionally trained dancer who has been teaching and training clients for over 10 years.  Her fitness specialities include rehabilitation/corrective exercise, and weight loss.  She gives her clients the best chance to succeed with her well rounded approach containing nutritional guidance, behavior modification, and all components of fitness.
