Best Foot Forward

Applicable for: Special event choreographed dances, fun exercise, improve posture

Each lesson will encompass proper footwork as well as technique and styling. This is one of the easiest ways to learn a dance style quickly.

Private lessons are also an important vehicle to help get ready for a specific event such as weddings, anniversaries, work parties, or dance showcases.

Whether you have two left feet or a perfect set, Hit the Floor Fitness is committed to help you reach your goals. There is no need to be intimidated by the dance floor.  Step out with confidence.

Private instruction is open to both individuals as well as couples.

Skilled Instruction in: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, or Contemporary

Individualized instruction helps reinforce the steps and technique a dancer knows while getting an introduction or assistance with more advanced steps and techniques. A dance style may be refined or a dancer might wish to expand into a different style.  Lessons are also a great way to perfect choreography for competition, show, or audition.

Private lessons are driven by the individual student. This not only minimizes frustration or anxiety; it allows the lessons to serve as a supplement to a group class or as a dancer's only instruction.

Private instruction is open to dancers of all ages and levels.

American Ballroom Dance will concentrate on the dance styles of Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot.
American Rhythm Dance will focus on the dance styles of Rumba, Cha Cha, and East Coast Swing.

Group classes are a great way to learn new steps in a fun relaxed environment at a great price.

We offer different level classes based upon prior experience.

Level 1 classes are considered “beginner” classes.  In level 1, you will learn the basic steps in each dance, dance hold, and how to move around the floor.
Level 2 are for those who have mastered the basics and are looking for more challenging patterns.
Level 3 and 4 are for more experienced dancers looking to fine tune their footwork.

Not sure which class to join? Our staff will be happy to give their recommendation.

Students will learn 3 different dance styles in each session.

Couples are welcome; however, a partner is not required.  In order to learn faster, please expect to rotate partners.
